Spilled Blood by Brian Freeman

I just finished reading Spilled Blood by Brian Freeman at the recommendation of one of my patrons at Kish. I had never read anything by Freeman, so I wasn’t quite sure what to expect. Needless to say, within the first twenty-five pages, I was hooked!! This tale is set in small town America where a fatal and rare form of leukemia has robbed them of some young, bright lives. People of the town blame the cross town chemical manufacturing plant and have begun
retaliating on their young people. No one is safe from the hatred including the chemical plant owner’s family. He experiences the feeling of loss firsthand, but who is responsible? Reading this novel, I found myself not sure which characters to trust. Surprises at every turn definitely kept me guessing at who actually pulled the trigger. The best part was that I was totally blown away by the ending!! I would definitely recommend this book to anyone looking for a quick reading mystery. I think that I will have to check out more by Brian Freeman.
