SPECIAL SERVICES
  • Children's Services offers toddler times, preschool story hours, and special children's programs at the Main Library in Lewistown and at the branches.
  • Summer Reading Programs provide incentive for children and teens to continue reading during the summer.
  • Books for Babies provides a board book and other gifts to each baby born at the Lewistown Hospital.
  • Telephone reference service.
  • Free public access to the Internet is available at all branches, including printing at a cost of $.25 per page.
  • Patrons can reserve materials at any library branch, or by telephone.
  • Inter-Library Loan Service brings the resources of major libraries to county residents.
  • AccessPA allows patrons to use their Mifflin County library cards at all participating Pennsylvania libraries.
  • Photocopiers are available for public use at all branches at $.25 per copy.
  • Fax services are available at all branches at a cost of $1.00 per page. ($5.00 per page for overseas fax service)
  • Test proctoring services.
