Active and passionate committees are the key to success of the Friends! A committee structure allows members to provide support in areas they are comfortable with, knowledgeable about, have an interest in. As a committee member, you can lead or you can work behind the scenes. You can provide as many volunteer hours as you wish. We have a four regular committees available for you to serve on. Please see the officer/administrative link for a listing of these committees and an outline of what each committee does. You can then decide if you wish to serve and if so, which committee(s) you would like to serve on. We look forward to working with you!
We have quite a few members in our database and it continues to grow. Even though there’s a cost to sending US mail, we believe it is important at this time to stay in contact with our membership via this method. Accordingly, we would love to have someone who can create a short newsletter and work with the Friends Officers, Committee members, and Mifflin County Library Staff to create the content. The newsletter will be published two times a year via a Spring/Summer and Fall/Winter editions. This, friends, is a challenging opportunity and one that will carry huge rewards to those involved. Please contact Bob at 717-248-9485 or send us an email. Thank you!
