Baby
Story Time
Baby Story Time is
a twenty minute story time for babies and their grown-up one on one.
Because we know that reading at
an early age helps with language development, we will read books, sing, and learn finger plays.
Older siblings are welcome but must bring their own “baby.”
There will be two
sessions of Baby Story Time, each lasting for six weeks, beginning on: Thursday, March 26, @ 10 a.m. OR 11 a.m.
Please pick the
time that best suits you. Registration is required. First day to sign
up is Monday, March 9, 2009.
Please
call the library at 242-2391 or
contact
kidsroom@mifflincountylibrary.org
Library Play Time
Library Play Time is a play
group for little tots ages one to three years old. We will play for
an hour and then sing and learn new finger stories. Parents will be
given hand-outs based on weekly child development themes. Library Play
Time runs for six consecutive weeks.
This activity will be
offered as part of the Summer Reading Program events. Please click
the link at the top of the page for more information.
Registration is limited and
required.

Few Things about
Junior
Book Group
We
will not allow anyone younger than 9 to join Junior Book Group. The main
reason is our library policy states “Children the age of eight (8) and
under are not permitted in the library without a parent/custodian who is
sixteen (16) years of age or older.”
Parents are not required to stay while Junior Book Group is in
session.
Junior
Book Group is only cancelled if school has been cancelled for the day or
the library is closed due to bad weather. If you are unsure, please
call the library.
You
are responsible to call or email the library and let us know if you can't
make it to a meeting. Missing two meetings in a row and failing to
call will result in loss of your spot in the group. You spot will be
given to the first person on the waiting list and your name will have to
be put back on the waiting list. Extenuating circumstances, such as
a sudden illness, will be taken into consideration.
To
register, or to let us know you can't attend a meeting, call
