A Few Things about  Junior Book Group

We will not allow anyone younger than 9 to join Junior Book Group. The main reason is our library policy states “Children the age of eight (8) and under are not permitted in the library without a parent/custodian who is sixteen (16) years of age or older.”  Parents are not required to stay while Junior Book Group is in session.

Junior Book Group is only cancelled if school has been cancelled for the day or the library is closed due to bad weather.  If you are unsure, please call the library.

You are responsible to call or email the library and let us know if you can't make it to a meeting.  Missing two meetings in a row and failing to call will result in loss of your spot in the group.  You spot will be given to the first person on the waiting list and your name will have to be put back on the waiting list.  Extenuating circumstances, such as a sudden illness, will be taken into consideration.

To register, or to let us know you can't attend a meeting, call 242-2391 or email Miss Sandy at familyplace@mifflincountylibrary.org
