Summer Teen Activities at MCL

Trash to Treasure:
For students ages 14-18 only--

Let’s get creative!  Think outside the box and find new ways to use old items to create sculptures or garden art.  Other people’s trash can become your treasure!  Finished work will be judged and the winning sculpture will be awarded a $25 Amazon gift card.  

     Lewistown on Friday, June 16 @ 2 p.m. Last  3 weeks. Work must be completed and turned into the library on Friday, June 30.  


Book Bingo:
For the whole family--

Come play Bingo and win a prize!  This event is for the whole family.  Registration is not necessary, but space is limited.
     Lewistown on Tuesday, July 11 @ 2 p.m.
     Kish Library on Thursday, July 13 @ 10 a.m.


Friendship Bracelets:
For students entering 6th grade and older--

Learn the art of macramé while making a colorful friendship bracelet.  Come alone or bring a friend along to learn together.  

Registration is required beginning June 19th.
    Lewistown on Tuesday, June 27 @ 2 p.m.
    
    Kish Library on Thursday, July 13 @ 2 p.m.


Project Play:
For students entering 6th grade and older--

Create pet toys for local shelter animals!  Create toys and blankets to be donated to local animal shelters.
